Las Vegas Vacations

Las Vegas is an ever-changing tourist town. Each year more than 35 million visitors fly or drive into town. When you visit expect to gain a bit around the waist, after indulging in one of the many bargain buffets and anticipate being appreciably lighter in the wallet after indulging in an evening of gambling and carousing.

Visitors to Vegas stay in some of the most glamorous, unique hotels in the world. You cannot help but be dazzled by but the sheer number of things to see and do. Eat at five-star restaurants and expansive buffets. Play at casinos, pools, health spas and golf courses.

Nowadays, Las Vegas believes itself to be a "resort destination" where families can indulge in an ever-widening variety of restaurants, attend an amusement park and enjoy cosmopolitan surroundings. Liberace has given way to Celine Dion. And while Wayne Newton still performs here, he's not "Mr. Las Vegas" anymore.

If you haven't been to Las Vegas for a few years, you will be astonished by the many changes. A dozen mega-resorts have opened along The Strip. Fremont Street has become a downtown pedestrian mall covered by a high-tech, laser-lighted canopy.

The Strip, formally known as Las Vegas Boulevard, showcases architecture that ranges from Roman forums to Egyptian pyramids to New York City Gothic. In all, the city is home to 13 of the world's 15 biggest hotels. The four hotels at Tropicana Avenue and The Strip--the Tropicana, Excalibur, MGM Grand and New York-New York--have more rooms than all of San Francisco.

You will find Las Vegas a unique travel destination optimizing visitor’s opportunities to indulge in their lust for decadence and over indulgence…and best of all “What happens in Vegas…stays in Vegas!
